The chancellor, Yvan Gil, reported this Saturday that it maintains contact with the foreign ministries of Peru and Chile in view of the situation experienced by Venezuelan migrants on the border that unites these two nations and where incidents have been generated in the last hours.
“Regarding the situation of Venezuelan migrants blocked on the border between Chile and Peru, we have been in contact with both foreign ministries and requested full guarantees and respect for the human rights of our compatriots“, he wrote on Twitter.
“We have also requested guarantees so that our aircraft @LAConviasa can land and take off in the area, as well as supply fuel in a possible operation of our Plan Vuelta a la Patria that allows us to return healthy and safe to our compatriots“he added.
