Saint martin
The celebration of San Martino returns with sweets, games and markets: over the weekend the windows of the pastry shops and the best bakeries in the area will display colorful San Martino desserts. There are numerous events in the province of Venice, with demonstrations, celebrations and initiatives for children (DETAILS), in Sottomarina with markets and amusement parks (DETAILS) and in Pianiga with food stands and live music (DETAILS).
Fiera e Zogo de l’oca
On Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th November 2023, the now traditional appointment with the Fiera de l’oca and the Zogo de l’oca in the square returns to Mirano. For two days the historic center of the city will return to the beginning of the last century, in the atmosphere recreated down to the smallest details of the old village festivals, with stalls, street shows and entertainment of all kinds for adults and children (DETAILS).
Radicchio Festival
The 41st edition of the Radicchio Festival of Rio San Martino di Scorzè is underway and will take place from Friday 10th to Sunday 12th November in the large Palaradicchio in the center of the town. Sunday 12 November, at 11.00 am, Rio meets the Italy of motors: Lamborghini parade on the occasion of the 60th anniversary and 30th anniversary of the Lamborghini Club Italia (DETAILS).
Back To The Wine
The sixth edition of “Back To The Wine” kicks off from 12 to 13 November, a two-day event dedicated to artisanal and niche wines from all over Italy and abroad. This year the event will take place in Venice, more precisely at Terminal 103 of the Maritime Station and, through 130 stages, will take visitors to discover the artisanal wines of our country, but not only (DETAILS).
Massimo Popolizio at Toniolo
After the triumphant start with the Momix show, the Italian actor Massimo Popolizio is entrusted with the launch of the new prose season of the Toniolo Theatre: from 7 to 12 November Arthur Miller’s “A look from the bridge” will be on stage and it is always Popolizio directing (DETAILS).
Hunting for Lumiere
On Saturday 11 November, in Noventa di Piave at 6.00 pm, the floodplain area of the Piave river will become the stage for the “Hunting for Lumiere” event: a meeting that will revive the importance of the element of fire in the evolution of the history of man of yesterday and today who is realized by combining knowledge and ritual (DETAILS).
Meeting with Jean-Pierre Luminet
Saturday 11th, at 6.00 pm at the Vez civic library, the appointment with the French astrophysicist, novelist and poet Jean-Pierre Luminet, who will present the book “Extraordinary and unusual stories of astronomers”. The author was the first in the world to “photograph” a black hole and is research director at the CNRS, the French public research organization (DETAILS).
Show “Sleeping Beauty”
Sunday 12 November, at 4.30 pm, second appointment of “Domenica da Favola” for the “A pesca di dream” season of the Teatrino Groggia. “Sleeping Beauty” will be narrated enriched by images, video projections, drawings, animations (DETAILS).
Show “Hamelin”
On Sunday 12 November at 3.00 pm at Not Only For Kids, the section dedicated to the youngest of the Candiani Center of the Culture Sector of the Municipality of Venice, the theater show “Hamelin” by the trans-Adriatic company Factory with Fondazione Sipario Toscana will be staged. Recommended from 6 years of age (DETAILS).
Exhibition on Emilio Vedova
The exhibition continues until January 7th Widow Revolutionhosted in the spaces of M9 – Museo del ‘900: on display will be, among others, some fundamental works by the Venetian painter characterized by the strong link with the dramatic events of his time (DETAILS).
Exhibition on Chagall
The exhibition Chagall. The color of dreams is open in the exhibition rooms on the second floor of the Candiani and will be open to visitors until 13 February 2024. The exhibition is conceived with the masterpieces preserved at Ca’ Pesaro, accompanied in each section by important and timely works by Chagall from prestigious international collections (DETAILS).
Exhibition on Titian’s artistic debut
Until 3 December 2023 the Gallerie dell’Accademia will host the exhibition “Titian 1508. At the beginning of a luminous career”, which tells the story of the artist’s birth through seventeen autograph works by Titian and around ten comparisons with paintings, engravings and drawings by contemporary authors such as Giorgione, Sebastiano del Piombo, Albrecht Dürer and Francesco Vecellio (DETAILS).
