Veneer Cracked: Czech Republic National Team Players Expelled After Nightclub Incident

The veneer cracked in the Czech Republic. Three players were expelled from the team’s camp following a night out at a nightclub shortly after the 1-1 draw against Poland, in a game counting for the 9th round of Group E in the qualifying phase for the 2024 European Championship. “Three national team players violated the internal rules of the national team on Saturday night. Jakub Brabec, Vladimír Coufal and Jan Kuchta left the national team training camp with immediate effect by decision of the national team management”, confirmed the Czech Federation, during today’s day. Now, after Saturday’s game, the team returned home and stayed in a hotel in Omoluc. It was apparently a normal day for the Czech team, who are one step away from qualifying for next year’s European Championship. For that to happen, they just need to not lose tomorrow against Moldova. Even with less than 48 hours left until the decisive game, the most normal thing would be for all the players to rest at the hotel, but Brabec, Coufal and Kuchta had other ideas. They decided to go to a nightclub and spent the night there, having been photographed and filmed by several people who were in the nightlife space. The first, a defender from Aris Salónica, was even seen crossing a street completely drunk until he was grabbed by another member.
