/ world today news/ The independent deputy Velizar Enchev submitted to the parliament’s office a project to amend the Rules for the organization and activities of the National Assembly.
“I propose an urgent change in the Regulations for the organization and activities of the National Assembly, to be voted on in the plenary hall of the National Assembly on April 8 or 9 of this year,” says Enchev’s proposal, addressed to the Speaker of the Parliament, Tsetska Tsacheva.
According to him, this change should be in line with public holidays and non-working days in 2015.
“I think it is morally reprehensible that the people’s representatives have such a long vacation for Easter /10 days/, while the days off for Bulgarian citizens are April 10, 11, 12, 13,” Enchev said.
“A decision of the National Assembly for the deputies to rest from April 10 to 13 will show that we are adequate to public expectations and are in social solidarity with our voters. I believe that the deputies will support my proposal. With their positive vote, they will help to increase the authority of the National Assembly, which has been very low in recent years,” urged Velizar Enchev.
