Euseglimar González | THE PRESS OF LARA.- A robbery ended with lead and blood. Two men were detained by officials of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) after allegedly they will steal a car on Avenida San Vicente with Calle 57.
On Tuesday afternoon, a couple of mussels stole a red Toyota pickup on the avenue that is located at west of Barquisimeto, but the neighbors immediately notified the PNB from the El Garabatal police station and the uniformed men left immediately.
The policemen managed to locate the stolen truck that was going at full speed, they called out to stop, but the driver accelerated to flee and at that moment a chase began. When they were going down 5th Street in Pueblo Nuevo, also to the west, the choro who was driving crashed into a car 4 gray doors. They had no escape, they were cornered by the uniformed men and it would have been that moment in which they opened fire against the commission.
According to the police report, in the middle of the shooting inside the truck, Maikel Xavier Castillo Gómez, 20, nicknamed the “Pingui” who presented a wound on his right forearm, while his partner Johan Javier Alejos, 31, ran out to avoid being caught, but when he had fled a few meters he was captured.
The uniformed men took the “Pingui” to the Antonio María Pineda Central Hospital Emergency Room to be treated. It was known that the man presented a fracture, after the impact he received.
Police sources indicated that Johan, nicknamed the “Junkman” has police records for aggravated robbery and he had a request by the First Control Court, while the “Pingui”, apparently, presented police records for the crimes of illegal possession of a firearm and extortion.
It was learned that the detainees were placed at the order of the Prosecutor 9 and they will be presented in court.
