Vehicle Crashes into Hedge and Lands in Garden

ASKER: The police report on Saturday evening that a car has driven into a house in Åros. According to the police, there were two people in the car.

Task manager at the Oslo police district Anders Aas, however, informs Drammens Tidende that the car has not driven into a house. However, the car is said to have driven through a hedge, and is now in the garden of the house.

According to the police, no one should be injured. The police do not yet know why the run-off happened.

– Work is being done on site to find out why, says Aas.

Police operations manager Sven Christian Lie tells Drammens Tidende that the driver appeared to be under the influence. The person has therefore been taken in for further tests.

– Now the case goes into the investigation track. The driver has his driver’s license temporarily confiscated and the police open a case, says Lie.
