Multiple vehicles, including what appeared to be a double-decker tour bus, were involved in an accident Tuesday in the heart of midtown Manhattan that ended with a truck on the sidewalk in front of the Old Navy store, video shows. of the Telemundo 47 helicopter.
The accident occurred at 34th Street and Seventh Avenue around 11:30 am Tuesday. It also involved a Revel Tesla rideshare vehicle. Revel launched that service in Manhattan last August.

The collision in Herald Square left the Revel car with its roof ripped off, though that may have been in an effort to reach potential victims. Apparently the driver’s side door came off or was removed in a possible salvage. The door was left in the middle of the street, between the truck, the bus and the vehicle itself.
There was no immediate information on possible injuries in the crash. Streets were closed in the area to aid authorities in their investigation.
