Why are vegetable prices in Poland so high?

Many consumers are expressing their frustration on social media about it high vegetable prices. Peppers, tomatoes and cucumbers have been hailed as new symbols of high prices in stores. What is the reason for such high vegetable prices? This is influenced not only by raging inflation, but also by unfavorable weather conditions in countries from which vegetables are imported to this part of Europe.
