Why are vegetable prices in Poland so high?
Many consumers are expressing their frustration on social media about it high vegetable prices. Peppers, tomatoes and cucumbers have been hailed as new symbols of high prices in stores. What is the reason for such high vegetable prices? This is influenced not only by raging inflation, but also by unfavorable weather conditions in countries from which vegetables are imported to this part of Europe.

Pepper prices are breaking records. How much is a kilo now?

Tomato prices. How much is a kilogram?
They can also be astonishing prices of domestic raspberry tomatoes. They cost money on the wholesale market in Bronisze from PLN 26 to PLN 29 per kilogram. On the other hand a kilogram of imported tomatoes currently costs from PLN 10 to PLN 15.

Why is cauliflower expensive? The sale prices of cauliflowers are relatively high due to the low supply – the consequence is poorer harvests and more expensive transport costs.
Eggplant prices skyrocketed. How much do you have to pay per kilo?
