Vedum was wrong about the Constitution. Again.

Oslo District Court states that energy cooperation with the EU is completely in order.

A new ruling from the Oslo District Court gives Center Party leader Trygve Slagsvold Vedum something to think about.

Center Party leader – and now Minister of Finance – Trygve Slagsvold Vedum has been confident in his case. He has stated that the Storting has acted in violation of the Constitution.

In 2018, the Storting decided that Norway should join the EU’s third energy market package. It includes the EU’s energy agency Acer. Vedum called the decision “a clear circumvention of the provisions of the Constitution”.
