“Vazrazhdane” party was left without a group in the Metropolitan Municipal Council. This happened after four of the councilors voted “for” the candidacy of the newly elected chairman of SOS – Tsvetomir Petrov from PP-DB-SS.

It is about Krasimir Galabov, Ventsi Stoychev, Vasil Draganov and Sevdelina Petrova. Their colleague Deyan Nikolov described them as “traitors”.
Thus, the group of “Vazrazhdane” disbanded, and only three remained loyal to the party.
“The only part of “Revival” remained. What happened today is what I also said in the hall – for the last 3 months there has been an active campaign to buy municipal councilors from all groups. Some groups were completely bought, and others were penetrated with offers for posts and money”, Nikolov told journalists.
He said he did not know exactly what and how much was being offered, but that this practice was indicative of how the capital would be run from here on out.
“Those who are in assembly at the national level have agreed to hold an assembly in Sofia as well. As of today, unfortunately, the group of “Vazrazhdane” in SOS is decreasing. We have four people who are traitors and have been bought, they will no longer be in the group”, said Nikolov.
He apologized to the voters that “Trojan horses” were introduced into the party, which were clearly not driven by the “Revival” cause, but pursued other interests or succumbed to pressure.
“We were offered to join a management, which would be an assembly in Sofia, and yes, we would get everything we wanted,” Deyan Nikolov also claims.
He, Emil Dimitrov and Ivaylo Kostadinov remain in the “Vazrazhdane” group in SOS as chairman.
