Vazrazhdane leader Kostadin Kostadinov, in front of Trud: The attacks against Trud are due to his information

The chairman of the party already has a black stamp on Ukraine, accused by our services

Bulgaria is ruled by former foreign nationals

Bulgarian media are already being restricted and we are already witnessing attacks against such media, which share the so-called unorthodox information that is currently – for example, “Trud” – hacker attacks against them and what not, but as far as I know, it is not only against Trud.

This was stated at an extraordinary press conference in BTA by the leader of “Vazrazhdane” Kostadin Kostadinov on the occasion of the attempts to limit the information about what is happening in Ukraine. “The attacks against Trud are just because the media gives a different point of view,” Kostadinov told Trud. According to him, it is already being commented on how Bulgarian media that transmit information outside the government should be banned.

“This is scary! “I know that there is already a ban list, the Vazrazhdane party is also inside – not to invite us to the media,” Kostadinov said during a press conference at BTA. “Bulgaria is a conquered country ruled by foreigners or former foreign nationals,” Kostadinov said.

He confirmed that there is already information about the media that are being discussed for a possible restriction, but it would not be correct to announce which ones in question. “I strongly hope that the CEM will not impose a ban on Bulgarian media,” Kostadinov said, due to the decision to suspend Russian television channels and websites.

The leader of “Vazrazhdane” gave details about the scandal in which Ukraine put a black stamp on him and banned him from entering the country for the next 10 years. Kostadinov was on a planned trip to Taraclia, Moldova, where he met with Bulgarian citizens. Kostadinov said he crossed the Moldovan-Ukrainian border without a problem, but soon found out he was wanted.

“We received word that they were looking for us and we decided to get in touch with the people immediately,” he said. The military escorted him to the border crossing. There he was told that he had received information that he was the chairman of a pro-Russian party. “This accusation in the current situation is tantamount to the death penalty,” Kostadinov stressed. He pointed out that he had told the Ukrainians that this was not true, asking to know where they had received the information from. According to him, the answer was that Bulgarian intelligence had informed the Ukrainians.

“I was betrayed by our services, and my life was put at risk,” Kostadinov said.

Consequences

The people I met may be at risk

Since I was aware that going to Ukraine would carry risks because of the actions of the Bulgarian state, not the Ukrainian one, I deliberately did not share where and how I plan to spend the next few days. I was officially sent to Moldova. We received word that they were looking for us and decided to get in touch with the people immediately.

This accusation (that he is chairman of a pro-Russian party) is tantamount to the death penalty. I can understand the Ukrainians because they are at war, but I cannot understand my country, which betrayed me and literally wrote me the death sentence. Because in Ukraine at the moment for such accusations kill. Ever since I got home, I’ve been looking for information on whether the people I’ve met are alive.
