“Vazrazhdane” Blocks Port of Varna – West, Bulgarian Referendum Rejected – Democracy Destroyed

Today “Vazrazhdane” blocks the port of Varna – West.

Last week on Thursday, 2,000 Bulgarians in the square, in front of the Constitutional Court, fought for their right to be questioned and defended the Referendum to preserve the Bulgarian Lev.

After the National Assembly trampled on the law and rejected the Referendum on Preservation of the Bulgarian Lev, organized by an Initiative Committee and supported by “Vazrazhdane” and the Constitutional Court trampled on the Constitution.

The right of 604,000 Bulgarians to vote in the Referendum was taken away, and democracy was destroyed.

The rejection of a national currency is the rejection of national sovereignty. If we lose the Bulgarian lev, we lose the freedom and sovereignty of Bulgaria, and the decisions for our country will be made from Brussels, Frankfurt or Berlin.

If we lose the enterprises from the Mariska Basin, we lose our energy sovereignty. Without energy, there is no economy. They are slowly and consistently destroying our nuclear energy as well. Units 3 and 4 of the Kozloduy NPP were dismantled and cut for scrap, the reactors of the Belene NPP were sold.

Lack of land leads to lack of food. The construction of photovoltaics on the fertile Bulgarian land destroys it. Thousands of regulations are slowly killing agriculture. Bulgaria’s food sovereignty is at risk – the people have no guarantee of their livelihood.
