On Friday, Daniel Mathieu, botanist and naturalist from Vauxrenard, spoke with students from the large sections of the Vauxrenard-Emeringes schools, to help them discover the fauna of the Beaujolais forests. This meeting allowed young schoolchildren to discover the great diversity of the animal world that surrounds us and to classify animals according to their place of residence, their food and their scientific classification.
During this day, they were able to put themselves in the shoes of a wildlife observer by slipping into a camouflage tent and looking into the telephoto lens of the camera. The day ended with the projection of videos of forest fauna, fox, marten, forest cat, wild boar, deer, badger, squirrel, captured by camera traps.
