Celebrating Christmas with family or friends is good, but celebrating Christmas by discovering your city and participating in activities is better! On its Facebook page, Avignon tourisme has drawn up an inventory of all the activities available for the weekend of December 25 and 26 with entertainment for all ages.
Thus, lhe Palais des Papes offers a family guided tour, Sunday December 26 at 2:30 p.m. That same day at the Palais, visitors will be able to see the exhibition for the last time. “Darkness and Light” by Giorgio Dante at 10:30 am.
Saturday December 25, the Optimist Theater will give 3 shows : the Super Petit Glouton at 4 p.m., the Impro of twisted words at 5.30 p.m. and the Divan at 8 p.m. The city’s Christmas market for traders will also be open from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Entertainment in the city center
All weekend long, young and old can visit the enchanted carousel (South square of Les Halles), the big tree carousel (place Pie), or the village of elves (Place Saint-Jean le Vieux).
Two ice rinks will be accessible, that of the place of the church, free, and that of the place of the Clock. Finally, the traditional Provencal crib can be admired in the Célestins church.
