The aim of the cooperation is to promote Berlin’s energy and heat transition, to shape cooperation and synergies, to offer information and advice and to overcome obstacles to implementation, with fundamental openness to technology, according to a statement. It also aims to achieve supply solutions that are fed with the highest possible proportion of heat generated from renewable sources and to design a sustainable, affordable and, in the future, fossil-free energy supply.

The following subject areas have been identified: expansion of qualification offers to qualify the trade for new tasks and business areas, optimization of funding opportunities, design of digitization and expansion of smart heat technologies, creation of offers for services, intensification of communication and network events.
