Since the ITN party has not fulfilled its promises to the voters, it makes no sense for it to continue to exist. Such an opinion was expressed by the sports minister in resignation, Radostin Vassilev, in the program “Wake Up”.
Vassilev was precisely from the ITN quota before he left and became an independent deputy.
“ITN was created as a party that was supposed to destroy GERB and change the way the state is governed, and it turned out that it is returning the model. This is a betrayal of the voters. ITNs no longer have a purpose and a cause. They do not make sense of their existence after they have betrayed the main thing for which they were created”, said Vassilev.

The unfulfilled exploratory mandate given to “Continuing the Pormiana” is not a surprise to him.
“Already at the beginning of the process, after the departure of the six from ITN, and subsequently my departure, I had the feeling that they would not succeed in gathering deputies, as far as the ITN group is concerned,” Vasilev said. “After the action we did, there was a lot of pressure. They prefer not to realize their own will, but to remain “faithful” to a false guru”, added the sports minister in resignation.
During the talks with the coalition partners and independent MPs with the PP, no posts were discussed.

“The only thing that my colleagues and I commented on was the upralvenx and the legal program. This is how the PP tried to convince people’s representatives. They introduced this model for the first time – with programs, not with money and posts”, Vassilev was categorical, but expressed regret saying that “apparently in Bulgaria we still have to act in the old way”.
Vassilev also stated that he will soon announce his new project, hinting that it will be composed of others who left the ranks of ITN. “Our new party will rather be in the center. Bulgaria needs a party that defends the national interest”, Vassilev explained
The resigned minister was adamant that the next step is new early parliamentary elections.

“There is no point in seeking support from ITN. It is mandatory to go to the elections. Toshko Yordanov alienated 99% of the people of the party with his appalling behavior,” Vassilev said. “For me, ITN remains a disappointment, sadness and work invested over the years. From now on, ITN have no chance to be present in the National Assembly,” the former member of the party believes.
He denied breaking into the ITN office in Pleven.
“These are complete fabrications!” he declared. “Nothing bothers me, because I have not moved outside the law and I have a clear conscience. I will judge them, they will be in severe trouble. Everything has to be proven in this country”, Vassilev was categorical.
