Famous blogger Vasily Utkin told which player, in his opinion, is the best in the history of Russian football.

“I can’t help myself, my friends. The best football player of the post-Soviet period in Russia is, of course, Alexander Mostovoy. Firstly, he plays in the most competitive role. Secondly, Mostovoy managed to show himself back in the USSR championship. He never came to the championship of Russia, but this is because his career was very successful – it was not required. And he completed his career – as they say, he could still play.

Mostovy was injured, he was still trying to get back and even played in Alaves. Not that he was tormented by injuries – he was a perfectionist. The famous case when Mostovoy left the field because the team played poorly confirms this perfectionism and some infantility. Both that and another at it, in general, remained. In the same way, he tried to find a job after finishing his career. Mostovoi once came to get a job in the sports director of Lokomotiv. And when they asked him who he would suggest considering a problem position in the Russian championship, Mostovoy said: “Yes, you know, I’m the Russian championship, to be honest, I practically don’t watch it.” This is partly the whole of Bridge.
