After that, he lost all his roles.
The Soviet actor Vasily Neshchiplenko is familiar to the viewer from his work in such films as “Krechinsky’s Wedding”, “Two Friends”, “Great Land” and others. But his main role can be deservedly called the role of Captain Kaisarov in the film “Heavenly slug”. Handsome, courageous, stately, and even with such talent – Vasily could not help but be successful. Although at first he was predicted to have a political career.
However, Neshchiplenko decided that he was not interested in politics, but in acting. And he began to fulfill his dream. At first it seemed that fate was more than favorable to the young aspiring actor. After all, he not only received interesting and prominent roles in the cinema, but was also very successful on the theater stage. But later it turned out that it was the love of the theater that would become fatal for Vasily. It will destroy not only all his achievements, but also put an end to the future.
The thing is that once Neshchiplenko received an offer, from which, as they say, he simply could not refuse. He was called the leading actor in the Stanislavsky Theater. But the main condition for this was the complete rejection of cinema. The actor accepted this offer, as well as the condition. But a few years later he bitterly regretted it. Due to inconsistency, he was deprived of the main roles, and he quit. I tried to return to the cinema, but it was too late. He played only a few episodic roles.
The actor ended his life in a small village next to his wife, doing gardening.
