Pop ace Vasil Naydenov faced serious urological problems. The new year did not start very well for him with a festive mood, but with going to hospitals. The singer had doubts that he was suffering from a serious diagnosis. A few days ago, he underwent a series of meticulous tests at the Academy of Medical Sciences, and until the results came out, he was on the mend, writes the “Retro” newspaper.
The 72-year-old performer of “Telephone Love” entrusted his health to one of the luminaries of medicine in our country. Naydenov was examined and treated by Prof. Iliya Saltirov, who is the head of the Department of Urology and Nephrology and head of the Endourology and Extracorporeal Lithotripsy Clinic of the Academy of Medical Sciences. In addition, the renowned specialist is also a national consultant in urology. With his help, Vasil managed to get a foothold and was relieved that his diagnosis was not fatal. Ten years ago, the singer first revealed that he was suffering from ailments related to the prostate. Then he also underwent surgery in the hope of solving the problem permanently, but the improvement was only temporary. However, now the star of his native variety felt in safe hands and was calm about his health.
Vasil was already planning not to ignore the advice of specialists for more rest at his age, because the urological diagnosis was by no means the only one that was bothering him. “I have had chronic colitis and gastritis since I was 20 years old. I also have a final degree of aerophagia. I also have heart problems – I’ve been out of rhythm for a long time, but I’m still alive and my emotions keep me going, the audience is also a big supporter of mine,” says the performer. He is among the few in the entertainment industry who are packed with appearances, and his busy schedule is often the envy of colleagues of his generation. Ketsa does not turn down invitations either for club performances, or for concerts or private and company parties.
Last December, he hardly had a free night, in the days around the New Year he crossed the length and breadth of Bulgaria to fulfill three commitments. In the first month of the new year, however, he was going to indulge in a well-deserved vacation, planning to go somewhere abroad together with his impresario Ivaylo. Only outside the borders of his homeland did Ketsa manage to rest to the fullest. During the holidays, he managed to earn tens of thousands of BGN from fees and planned to relax on the beaches of a more distant and exotic destination. He would again invest the remaining money in the notorious renovation of his apartment on Vitosha Blvd. and in expensive jewelry. For many years, the singer has invested in diamonds, the value of which never falls and is not affected by inflation.
