District Court – Burgas held an injunctive hearing in a case for causing medium bodily harm. At the request of the parties, the case was heard in accordance with Ch. 29 of the Civil Code, with the signing of an agreement.
The court approved the agreement reached between the District Prosecutor’s Office – Burgas and the defendant Vasil Mihailov, according to which he imposed a sentence of “Probation” on the defendant.
Mihailov pleaded guilty to the fact that on 31/08/2021, in the city of Sozopol, in the alley between the “Mysteries” disco and the “Jack” bar, having punched P. G. in the face, intentionally caused him medium bodily injury, expressed in a deformity of the nose with total reconstruction of the nose, which caused the victim a permanent non-life-threatening health disorder with a recovery period of more than thirty days in the usual course of the healing process (crime under Article 129, para. 2, paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code).
The act was carried out by the defendant culpably, in the form of “direct” intent.
The “Probation” sentence imposed on Vasil Mihailov should be carried out under the following measures:
– Mandatory registration at the current address in Pernik, for a period of 1 year and 6 months, with appearance and signature before a probation officer, twice a week;
– Periodic meetings with a probation officer for a period of 1 year and 6 months;
– Carrying out unpaid work for the benefit of society, in the amount of 100 hours, within 1 calendar year.
According to the Burgas District Court, the agreement reached does not contradict the law and morality and should be approved.
The decision of the court is final and has the force of a final judgment.
District Court – Burgas canceled the “Signature” restraining order imposed on Vasil Mihailov.
