Vasil Bozhkov, a businessman living in Dubai with 19 charges and leader of the Bulgarian Summer party, hopes to return to Bulgaria in August at the latest, because a local court has already rejected the Bulgarian prosecutor’s office’s request for his extradition. Bozhkov said he was placed under sanctions under the US Magnitsky law only because of the charges brought against him by the Bulgarian prosecutor’s office. He reminded that none of them was brought to court.
