What happened
Vasco entered the field with the phrase “Maracanã Para Todos” in the space on the shirt reserved for the master sponsor. The message gives the name to the consortium that the club set up with the companies WTorre and Legends to compete in the bidding for the stadium. Cruzmaltino has been having legal battles with the Fla-Flu duo since expressing interest in managing the “Biggest in the World”.
The phrase took everyone by surprise and greatly upset Flamengo and Fluminense. Currently, the duo manages Maracanã through a Terms of Use Permission (TPU) granted by the State Government. The initial information about the nuisance was given by journalist Gilmar Ferreira and confirmed by UOL.
