The episode happened after a fan published the following message on Twitter: “It’s worse that Cruzeiro will beat Fortaleza today.” Rossi tried to respond:

Today at Fortaleza, Yago Pikachu played for Vasco from 2016 to 2020. In 2019, he played alongside Rossi at the Rio club, where they became friends.

If Cruzeira beats Fortaleza this Saturday, they will equal the number of points with Vasco. However, the Minas Gerais club would still have one victory less than the Rio de Janeiro team. The teams face each other next Wednesday, at 7pm, at Mineirão, in a direct confrontation against relegation.
