The inspiration for the new uniform, according to the club, comes from the Almirante, a symbol of cross-Maltina sailings. The design also alludes to nautical flags and the swaying of sea water, as in a caravel crusade.

– Our goal was to use an application of diagonal stripes with varnish on the numbers and the watermark technique with graphics that make up our collection, all in an unusual way that makes the piece even more beautiful. But, our main focus with this is to hinder piracy and protect the club, and promote the feeling of identity to the fans, who will know how to identify an official product of high quality – said the designer of the club, Marcelo Azalim.
