On vacation in Saquarema, in the Lakes Region of Rio de Janeiro, Léo, defender of the Vascocaused commotion in a supermarket in the region on Friday: he presented an employee’s son with a Play Station 5.
The video in which Léo appears handing the video game to little João Miguel, aged 10, went viral this Saturday. He gives the player a hug and even says, emotionally: “Wow, how heavy!”.

O ge went after the story and talked to Alexsandro de Sousa Mendes, a butcher at the market where Léo and his family have been going on vacation.
He takes care of his son and eldest daughter, Maria Clara, 20 years old, alone since their mother abandoned them. And, as he has no one to leave João Miguel with, Alex has the habit of taking him to work.

– Léo buys meat here, he is a simple, honest person, with good character – said Alexsandro, moved.
He made friends with me, he’s always talking to me and he met my son a month or so ago, they keep talking. My son said he trains at Atleta do Futuro, in Saquarema. He’s from Vasco too. He and his father almost died of heart failure this year (laughs) – added his father, referring to Vasco’s campaign in the Brasileirão.
This week, on one of his trips to the market, Léo asked the boy what he would like for Christmas. João Miguel replied that he wanted a PlayStation 5, but that his father had not been able to buy it.
– Léo came to me at the butcher’s: can I give his son a PlayStation 5? – said the father, still in disbelief.
– I replied: really? He came here yesterday and delivered it, I appeared in the video thanking him, I was very happy. I just wish that God bless him and give him much happiness – he concluded.
