O Vasco officially announced, this Friday, the hiring of Pablo Vegetti. The 34-year-old Argentine striker was bought from Belgrano for US$1.1 million and signed a contract until July 2024. He had been playing normally for the Argentine club and said he was physically well upon arrival in Brazil.

Now his name needs to appear on the CBF BID so that he can be available to coach Ramón Díaz to face Grêmio, next Sunday, at 4 pm, in São Januário.

The new reinforcement was the top scorer of the last Argentine Championship, with 13 goals, alongside Michael Santos, from Talleres, another player trying for Vasco in this window.
Vegetti is the eighth reinforcement announced by Vasco in this window. The SAF also signed defender Maicon, left-back Jefferson, midfielders Medel, Praxedes and Paulinho and forwards Serginho and Sebastian Ferreira. The club also has an agreement with Rossi, who will undergo a medical and sign a contract before being announced.
