The head of the Varna Municipal Council Hristo Dimitrov and employees from the institution joined the initiative “Let’s clean Varna together”. On a rainy Saturday, they collected over 100 bags of leaf litter and cleaned part of the space between Saedinenie Square and Chataldzha Blvd., along the streets “Knyaz N. Nikolaevich”, “Gen. Gurko”, “Gen. Skolbelev”.
“I supported this initiative because with our personal example we must show how important it is to take care of Varna. We all want to live in a cleaner and cozier city, but it is necessary to make an effort together,” said engineer Dimitrov and thanked everyone who participated in the cleanup.
The volunteer action was organized by the Municipality of Varna on the initiative of the mayor Blagomir Kotsev. It was attended by both administration officials and citizens. The collected leaf mass will be taken to the special composting depot in the village of Vaglen.
