Värmland closes on Saturday – quarantine for all countries outside the Nordic region – VG

For the government has today adopted new travel advice, which will apply from midnight Saturday.

• There were hardly any yellow countries left in Europe, but now Cyprus, Liechtenstein and Latvia are also smoking. The whole of Europe outside the Nordic region is thus colored red.
• The Swedish regions of Värmland, Västernorrland, Norrbotten and Gotland are also colored red.

The government has thus done as FHI recommended earlier this week.

If you are going on holiday now, without having to be quarantined when you get home, there are hardly any areas to travel to. There is only one yellow region left in Sweden, and that is Kalmar. There are a good number of yellow regions in Finland, but everything in Denmark is still red.

• In Finland, two new regions are colored red: Vaasa Hospital District and North Karelia Hospital District.
• Brand: The government asks you to avoid traveling to yellow lands and areas, if they are not necessary.

– This means that the whole of Europe outside the Nordic region is now red on the infection map, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs writes in its press release.
