A man was hit by a tram on Limmatstrasse in Zurich. According to eyewitness reports, he was pinched by the tram. After several minutes, protection and rescue were able to free the man.

The route between Bahnhofquai and Escher-Wyss-Platz is currently closed to tram operation on lines 4/6/13 in both directions. The city police confirmed a corresponding operation. “We can not yet provide any information on the condition of the accident victim,” says spokeswoman Judith Hödl to 20 minutes.
