1. Take a walk on The Corniche and Dhow Doha
A stroll along the Corniche is a great way to spend an afternoon. The seven-kilometer-long promenade stretches across the Persian Gulf on the Western Gulf from the Sheraton Hotel to the Museum of Islamic Art.
Besides enjoying the scenery, tourists can do some exciting activities including flying kites, taking pictures near the pearl shells which are the icon of this place and just ordering a coffee at the coffee bar to simply enjoy the sights of Qatar.

When architect IM Pei designed the Museum of Islamic Art, he suggested that it be built on a self-contained island so that no new buildings would get in the way. Located just off the Corniche, this museum appears to float on water from different angles.
Inside the museum are calligraphy, Islamic motifs, jewelery and textiles from three continents. The collection is large, with some items dating from the 7th to the 19th century. The museum also hosts high-profile rotating exhibits throughout the year.
3. Tours to The Pearl Qatar
The Pearl of Qatar spans nearly four million square meters and is an artificial island that can be a place to do many things. There are residential shops, upscale commercial and entertainment stands. One of the highlights of this place is the beautiful Mediterranean-inspired Qnata Quartier. With all the facilities it has, tourists can take a leisurely stroll, shop and eat delicious food.
4. Attend sporting events

Tourists will find a mosque decorated with turquoise and purple mosaics, an open-air amphitheater overlooking the sea, and an opera house home to the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra.
7. See the collection of Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani
This is one Museum the most interesting of Qatar Located 23 kilometers west of Doha, this museum is the private collection of Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani, a successful figure and businessman from Qatar. Sheikh has been collecting various objects since he was 10 years old. He also once built a fort to store seemingly random items collected on his travels, including ancient religious books, textiles, old cigarette packs, even an 18th-century Ottoman bomb. More than 15,000 artifacts fill the halls, and one hall houses traditional pearl boats and vintage American cars.
