Car wrecks

In Almelo, the Twente fire brigade had to extinguish the fire with several fire vehicles in a storage room in a porch flat on Gerard Doustraat. It was scaled up to a major fire, but the fire was quickly out. Some residents were removed from their balconies for safety reasons, Tubantia reports. There are no personal accidents.

According to Omroep Brabant, two car wrecks were again set on fire in Veen on Thursday evening around 9.30 pm, where cars are regularly set on fire around the turn of the year. That also happened on Wednesday evening. The Wijk en Aalburg fire brigade extinguished the fire, after which the wrecks were towed away.
