VIVA – Raphael Varano become a player Manchester United first to react to an explosive interview Cristiano Ronaldo with Pier Morgan.
In his statement, Ronaldo admitted he felt betrayed by the club. CR7 has also criticized the development of the Red Devils since the departure of legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
The 37-year-old footballer also insisted that he did not want to respect Erik ten Hag because the manager himself said he disrespected him.
Varane, who has a long history with Ronaldo when he played alongside real Madridwas asked to give his opinion on Ronaldo’s claims.
He told French radio station Europe 1: ‘Obviously it concerns us. We follow what is happening and what is being said.
“Let’s try to calm the situation in our own way, let’s try not to get too involved.”
Varane also said he would support whatever decision the club takes in this matter.
