/ world today news/ Deputy Minister of Education Vanya Kastreva announced that he will submit his resignation to Prime Minister Boyko Borosv. This was announced by Kastreva to “Bulgaria On Air” television, defining the step as completely logical, given the chaos created “with the circulation and insinuation of untruths about Bulgarian education”.
Today, Todor Tanev submitted his resignation as Minister of Education, after Prime Minister Borissov requested the resignation of him and his team on January 28. On Thursday, Kastreva commented to “Dnevnik” that he does not know what is done in such a case and probably the resignation should be requested personally.
“I think the most correct and most dignified thing is for one to step down from this moment and leave the opportunity for the next team, which is not burdened with negative media, to start fresh and continue to work in this very responsible task for the whole society,” Kastreva said today. She pointed out that in the new curricula there is no replacement of terms, as media publications appeared, and in her words “the string of Bulgarian nationalism is a topic that is socially exploited”.
The press center of the Council of Ministers commented in the early afternoon to “Dnevnik” that until now none of Todor Tanev’s deputies has resigned.
