The PP-DB-SS wanted everything in the Capital Municipal Council (SOC) and that’s why they got nothing, municipal councilor Vanya Grigorova told BNT.
According to her, there should be some kind of control, and that is why the chairman of the SOS should not have been chosen from among the largest group of advisers.
Talks are ongoing, in which the PP-DB-SS blocked the work of the SOS for three months with their insistence that they should be the chairman. Even during that time, the five commissions that were supposed to take all the key commissions insisted, to which all the others said “come on, that’s enough,” Grigorova said.
“The talks are again from the PP-DB-SS to redistribute the commissions, what they wanted weeks ago. Initially, they were supposed to receive five commissions according to the electoral burden”.
Vanya Grigorova also answered a question about whether she is a municipal councilor from the BSP.
“We must say that this position of “Positano” is hypocritical. Because it is the leadership of the BSP in its current form that governs together with “We continue the change” and “Democratic Bulgaria”, isn’t that right,” asked Grigorova.
“When it came to a deadlock in the SOS, it was Ninova who proposed that the oldest municipal councilor head the Metropolitan Municipal Council, and the oldest is precisely from the PP-DB-SS. In this sense, after governing with this group , literally two months ago you insisted that the president be from this group and then you wag your finger at your own advisers “you, if you vote for a candidate from this group, you’re done”, is not acceptable. It is obvious that the goals are somehow – different”, commented Vanya Grigorova.
“It is obvious that there is jealousy and someone is worried about his place as chairman in the party, and in this sense it is good to shoot anyone who can be seen as an alternative,” the municipal councilor pointed out.
