/ world today news/ “Kremikovtsi” is a landmark working-class neighborhood and its residents have been the most damaged by the looting policy in recent decades. It is necessary to work on its transport connectivity with the capital, strengthening of railway transport and improvement of its overall infrastructure as part of the general problem of the northern suburban areas. This was said by Vanya Grigorova during meetings with the residents of the Kremikovtsi district of the capital.
The candidate for mayor of Sofia Vanya Grigorova, the chairman of BSP – Sofia and candidate for municipal councilor Ivan Takov, the candidate for mayor of Kremikovtsi district Ivaylo Venchev and the candidate for municipal councilor Tsetska Kochkova, broadcast by the broad left coalition “BSP for Bulgaria”, met with representatives of the local community in “Kremikovtsi” and attended a folklore concert in front of the “Svetlina Kremikovtsi – 1906” National Community Center.
Ivan Takov called for maximum mobilization and emphasized that the decisive phase of the campaign for the local vote is coming.
“I am turning to you in the hope that you will shake off apathy. Yes, I know that we have been lied to a lot, but I think that now is the time when we have a chance to put an end to this treacherous political behavior,” urged Vanya Grigorova.
She stressed to the citizens that the policy of looting has led to the sale and closure of businesses, and “You know that best.” She shared that her grandfather and a large part of her relatives were from Kremikovci. “That’s why I think that, of those who want to manage the capital, I know best the needs and burdens of the working person, of the person who does not live in a closed complex and cannot send his children to a private kindergarten,” he commented Vanya Grigorova and stated:
“It’s high time we put an end to it. It is high time to say “Come on, enough is enough!” to the predatory behavior of the Bulgarian political elites. And if in the year 2000 and the years after, more than 100 huge Bulgarian enterprises that provided a living for the Bulgarian citizens were wiped out, now is the time to get back what was taken from us”, Vanya Grigorova also said to the citizens of “Kremikovtsi” .
According to the candidate of MK “BSP for Bulgaria” for district mayor Ivaylo Venchev, “Kremikovtsi” is a picturesque place in the midst of beautiful nature at the foot of Stara Planina, and tourism and infrastructure should be developed there, and not become a place where problems swept under the carpet.
