Delmas, June 27, 2020.- Unidentified armed individuals murdered, on Saturday June 27, 2020, Norvella Bellamy and his wife, Daphnée Fils-Aimé, in their private residence, in Fragneauville, Delmas 75.
According to information gathered by the editorial staff of Vant Bèf Info (VBI) from a nephew of one of the victims, the murderers broke into their residence after Norvella Bellamy finished a weekly meeting he organized at his home in name of a political structure called “Grouping of Responsible Patriots” (RPR) and committed their crime.
The 56-year-old Norvella Bellamy was a senior executive, deputy director at the Bank of the Republic of Haiti (BRH) for over 20 years. A graduate in economic and political science, he holds a master’s degree in public administration. A university professor, he is the father of two daughters, according to our source.
Recently, another couple was murdered in Péguy-Ville, commune of Petion-Ville, in similar circumstances.
