Vannacci candidate and discontent in the League, Giorgetti: “I prefer Bordonali to the general”. Salvini: “I could give him a preference”

“Vannacci candidate of the League? I have a candidate here from Brescia Simona BordonaIi. Beautiful and good and I prefer her, because I’m old school here.” The Minister of Economy Giancarlo Giorgetti said this in Ghedi, in the Brescia area.

The minister was in the town to support Stefano Casali’s candidacy for mayor, giving his support in the European elections to the former Lombardy councilor for Security, currently a member of the Northern League.

He is not the only one in the League to distance himself from the candidacy wanted and imposed by Matteo Salvini. From Zaia to Fedriga there are several important exponents who have already explicitly said that they will vote for other candidates.

For me, having a general who fought in Iraq and Afghanistan is a source of pride for Italy. Vannacci will give us a hand to change”.

During the presentation Salvini also dedicated a passage to the theme of autonomy: “The others have changed their symbol and projects. I joined the League for autonomy and federalism and the parliamentarians have just begun the final discussion on autonomy. I think it’s a great gift we give to Gianfranco Miglio.”
