Riyadh: Vande Bharat flights from Saudi Arabia have been suspended for a week, Air India said in a statement. Service will resume once the ban is lifted. Saudi Arabia has suspended all international flights except for emergency services for a week in the wake of reports of the spread of a new type of genetically modified Kovid virus in some foreign countries. The Saudi Interior Ministry said all international flights would be suspended for a week and only emergency flights would be allowed. This decision can be extended for another week. Access to the country by land, sea and air will also be banned for a week. Vande Bharat flights were also suspended due to the incident.
