Vandalized, the ASL Portugais de Roanne club appeals for generosity

The football club’s premises have been vandalized twice in less than 48 hours. ASL Portugais de Roanne is going to launch an online kitty.

They are dejected. On their Facebook page, the ASL Portugais de Roanne shared the sad scene they experienced in the middle of the week.

Two acts in 48 hours

On Wednesday, September 11, a window and the door of the club’s premises were broken. “We were already in shock from this situation,” they wrote. But the worst was yet to come.

This Friday, September 13, they found that the site had been damaged again. And burned. “The damage is considerable.” The photos published with the post bear witness to the facts. The toilets were broken. The household appliances were damaged. The floor is charred.

“Help us keep our club alive”

Faced with this situation, the club has appealed to the generosity of the people of Roanne. “We will need a surge of solidarity to clean our club and restore it once the assessment is complete. We will also open a Leetchi kitty to help us overcome this ordeal and allow our club to continue to exist, but also everything that insurance will not cover.”

For the time being, the premises will remain closed and no reception will be possible. “Help us keep our club alive.”
