That’s what it’s about

The office of the band Rammstein was attacked on Tuesday night.

A left-wing group claimed responsibility for the attack.

Now the state security is investigating.

According to information from the “Bild” newspaper, the office of the band “Rammstein” was attacked on Tuesday night. According to initial findings, the pane was smashed with stones and the facade was partially smeared with paint.

The police confirmed to the “Bild” newspaper that there had been an attack. However, she declined to give any further details. The only difference is that the future investigations are now being led by the Office for the Protection of the Constitution – which means that the police are assuming that the crime was politically motivated.

“Kontrapolis” claims responsibility for the attack

The left-wing group “Kontrapolis”, which sees itself as a “news and debate platform for the Berlin area”, claimed responsibility for the attack. A post on Kontrapolis says: “In the night of June 26th we attacked the Rammstein headquarters in Berlin Reinickendorf (…). The front windows were smashed and under the ugly Rammstein logo it now says “No stage for perpetrators”.

The group also says: “We show solidarity with those affected by organized sexual violence by Till Lindemann and Co. and make it clear: there are consequences for perpetrators like you (…).” In addition, the group calls for “creative disruption, sabotage and prevention” of the planned Rammstein concerts in mid-July.

Allegations of sexual assault against Till Lindemann

As several women have sworn, they are said to have been invited to special after-show parties at Rammstein concerts. So probably also Irish Shelby Lynn, who was the first to raise allegations against Lindemann. Lynn reported on social media that she was drugged backstage at a Rammstein concert in the Lithuanian capital, Vilnius. However, Lindemann is said not to have touched her, but got angry when she didn’t want to have sex with him. The concert-goer later posted photos of bruises on her back, but she couldn’t remember where she got them from.
