Formula 1 driver Max Verstappen held nothing back and lashed out at one of his greatest rivals: Lewis Hamilton.
Although this rivalry has increased over the years in Formula and Grand Prix, it now moves to another sporting plane: European football.
It was known a few days ago that Lewis Hamilton was looking to be part of the group of investors who wants to buy Chelsea, after the sale that Roman Abramovich is doing in London.
Hamilton together with Serena Williams want to integrate this group of buyers in which the Colombian Alejandro Santo Domingo is also, along with Martin Broughton y Josh Harris.
This news did not sit well with Max Verstappen who revealed that Lewis Hamilton is a fan of Arsenal, one of Chelsea’s biggest rivals in the English capital.
Verstappen was very critical of Lewis Hamilton and in a few words asked him to be consistent with being an Arsenal fan, and being part of the group that would own Chelsea.
“It is absurd Lewis being an Arsenal fan and investing in Chelsea, I am a PSV fan and I would never buy Ajax. If I were to buy a football club, I would like to be the full owner, not just a small percentage,” he said. Red Bull racer.
