On the E313 in Ranst, a van left the track on Friday evening around 11 pm for an unknown reason. The vehicles ended up sideways next to the highway towards Hasselt.

The driver was trapped in the vehicle and taken to hospital. The vehicle was full of travel bags and other tourist materials. The fire brigade was busy for a long time overloading the items in a container.
As a result, traffic had to travel in one lane for a while.
