Dutch midfielder Donny van de Beek getting closer to the exit Manchester United on the winter market. Van de Beek reportedly opted to join Everton.
Van de Beek’s move is getting faster after not getting enough playing minutes this season. The player who was brought in from Ajax has only played 14 times and has not even started in the Premier League.
Crystal Palace is a club that has been heavily linked with Van de Beek recently. However, the 24-year-old footballer is believed to be on loan at Goodison Park after being attracted by Frank Lampard, the future manager of Everton.
As for the salary issue that also influenced Van de Beek’s move to Everton. Reportedly, the Toffees are willing to pay Van de Beek’s salary in full, while Crystal Palace only offered to pay his salary of 85 percent.

It was also stated that there was no purchase option in the loan agreement for Donny van de Beek to Everton. Van de Beek’s agent, Hasan Cetinkaya, is reported to have been in London to finalize his client’s move.
Van de Beek will strengthen the injured Everton midfield with Tom Davies, Abdoulaye Doucoure and Fabian Delph out until March.
More importantly, Donny van de Beek demanded to control the performance of Everton which is falling. Everton currently ranked 16th in the Premier League standings, just four points above the relegation zone.
