Previously scheduled for release in 2021, the new window has been moved to February 2022
Vampire: The Masquerade — Swansong won a new launch window during Nacon Connect this Tuesday (6). The game has been postponed from the previously announced period of 2021 to February 2022. The new date was revealed at the end of the game’s new trailer, which can be seen in the video below.
For those who don’t know him yet, Vampire: The Masquerade — Swansong is part of the newest series World of Darkness, which also includes the game Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, which was also delayed recently.
Swansong is a narrative RPG set in Boston, in which the perspective shifts between three characters, each from a different vampire clan and with different worldviews: Galeb, from the clan Ventrue; Emem, from the clan Toreador and Leysha of the clan Malkavian. The three vampires begin investigating conspiracies in Boston after a shootout and end up intertwining their fates.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong has a gameplay with focus on choices, which are accounted for both in actions during the game — such as being careful about displaying powers when surrounded by humans — and even in statistics definitions of the character, which change the how he interacts with the world and how it solves situations, being able to pick locks or hack computer terminals.
In addition to the choices mentioned, the story changes according to the moral choices made by players in difficult situations. The game is inspired by the fifth edition of the tabletop RPG game Vampire: The Masquerade, released in the year 2018. The original version was released in 1991.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong doesn’t have a specific date for its release yet, but the game will be released for platforms PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC e Nintendo Switch.
