Most of you who love western RPG games, of course, at one point were looking forward to Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, regardless of whether you’ve tasted the first series or not. Standing under the flag of Paradox Interactive, it promises an RPG game that lives up to its name, positioning you as a vampire who lives in the middle of a world full of secrets. Like western RPG games, this means a game that will also respect the options you choose and provide commensurate consequences, while selling the fantasy of becoming a formidable vampire. But instead of being released, this game is drowning in uncertainty.
It was planned to be released in 2020, but there were even more dreams and bad news surrounding the name Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2. Fortunately, after being clouded by many uncertainties, Paradox Interactive finally came with good news.
Bloodlines 2 will be released in 2024 with a new developer – The Chinese Room.
Together with a new teaser, they plan to release this game in 2024. Even better news? That they have now got a new developer of The Chinese Room, dev. behind games like Dear Esther, Amnesia: The Machine for Pigs, and Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture is in charge. The Chinese Room itself calls this game their most ambitious project while promising changes to the gameplay side for this project.
Paradox Interactive has now set fall 2024 as Bloodlines 2’s release window with no firm date. How about you? Still optimistic about this project?
