“Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt Development Ends Due to Lack of Players in Prague Setting”

The free-to-play battle royale event Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt received a fair amount of attention from players upon its release. In addition to the use of a famous brand, the game was particularly interesting in our region setting in Prague.

But as it turned out, it was not enough for sufficient success. Developers from the studio Sharkmob AB via Press Releases reported that they were forced development and additional support of the game to end. The reason is the too small number of active players, which is not enough for continued development. Meanwhile, the game was released on PC (Steam) and the PlayStation 5 just a year ago.

Although Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt will not be expanding any new content in the future, the authors promised that servers will remain operational. This will allow the game to continue to be played. Before the end of support, the title will still see the release of the final update, which, in addition to several fixes, will bring a new community voting system.

According to the authors, this should ensure that players will continue to unlock new things that will keep Bloodhunt interesting even after the end of its development. The changes will also affect the purchase of various cosmetics items for real currency, which will end on September 26. They will be replaced by an unspecified token system.
