There are times when not even the newest game can match the success of the simplest. It is the case of Vampire survivorsan addictive survival rogue-lite with RPG elements, which has been successful since it was released in the catalog of Xbox Game Pass.
On November 10, Phil Spencer expressed to the developers (Poncle Games) how much fun the title was and that he expected to spend countless hours with it. And nothing was wrong, because to this day the head of Xbox accumulated more than 8 game daysEnd of 200 hours.

In the video game industry there are managers who talk and others who play. Between hours of gameplay and tons of unlocked achievements, Phil Spencer not only proves he’s a gamer, but also expresses himself and interacts with Xbox gamers. He’s not shy about giving advice either, like combining the “bible” and “garlic” skills to win the game.
I finally made it to 30+ minutes @poncle_vampire, Bibles plus garlic is a great combination. Only the wand has been evolved. pic.twitter.com/dKlQGP4SWu

If you’re already into Vampire Survivors, you probably already have a favorite character and skills along with some movement strategy. But as with any good rogue-lite worth its salt, every game is different and in this one you can border on perfect or be completely dissatisfied, so there’s always that “one more game and I give up” thing.
Even if you don’t know his name, you will never forget it. Vampire Survivors came out of nowhere in late 2021 on Steam with its Early Access. If you haven’t tried Vampire Survivors yet, I recommend you do along with a disclaimer: it’s “pure addiction”. As well as being on Xbox Game Pass.
