It’s still not quite the moment many have been waiting for, but it’s a very promising start on Valve’s part – a huge update has just landed in CS2!
The big transition from CS:GO to CS2 is still being prepared but, starting today, the “Limited Trial” will be expanded on a large scale with many invitations to be awarded by the developer.
In order to invite as many players as possible to test Counter-Strike 2, Valve has established parameters that must be met by users in order to gain that “access”.
Ter Prime status not CS:GOone skill group no Matchmaking and playing most of your MM matches in one of the regions where the “Limited Trial” is available were the requirements outlined by Valve.

“If you haven’t played CS2 yet, now is your turn”wrote the producer on Twitter to the delight of many fans, also confirming a huge range of changes that had already been filtered through the game code.
Among all, the one that will have the most impact is the transition from MR15 (15 rounds per half) to MR12, something that has not been seen at a competitive level since older editions of Counter-Strike and which was taken advantage of by VALORANT.
Counter-Strike 2 has not yet officially come out but it is certain that, in the near future, more and more eligible users will have access to it, implying that the final testing phase for the launch will have begun.
The new version of Inferno (the last remaining competitive active rotation map in CS2), CS Rating, regional rankings and skill groups per map also come to the new version of the popular FPS,
