Valve studio has revised the traditional system for receiving awards in the compendium for The International 2023. At the same time, the Dota 2 developers have abandoned the usual treasure chests and special cosmetic items.
Now each reward has its own level counter. When receiving a compendium or purchasing levels, progress will advance for all prizes at the same time. Certain positions can be improved with the help of amplifiers.
For example, capsules with player stickers are given out every four levels. For purchasing a compendium, the user will receive six levels and six amplifiers. By activating the levels, he will be able to get one capsule, and if he applies all amplifiers to this position, he will take two more pieces.
Among the usual rewards in the TI12 compendium, there are phrases for the chat wheel – this time permanent, not seasonal – capsules with stickers and a real collectible Aegis. Users can also get a special interface style, treasure chests with loading screens, and items for current events. Some prizes can be accepted multiple times.
