It’s been a couple of years since we had a combination of console and PC in the form of a Steam Machine, but it didn’t catch on. But Valve does not intend to stop these hardware attempts. Steam Deck was announced today, which is said to be a full-fledged portable PC.
Steam Deck comes on the market in December this year and will be sold in three price categorieswhich differ from each other only in storage. The 64 GB version with eMMC storage will cost you € 419. The 256 GB version for € 549 will already have NCMe SSD storage, so it will be faster. This also applies to the 512 GB version, which costs € 679. The rest of the entrails should then be the same for all variants. You will find all the details on the official website.

At a glance, the Steam Deck will definitely remind you of a Nintendo Switch. It reminds us all the more that it will also have a dock through which you can connect it to a larger screen. But it will be sold separately. We do not know its price yet.
It is interesting that in addition to the buttons and analog levers on the Steam Deck, you will also find trackpads that you may know, for example, from the Steam Controller. Controlling games where you can’t do without a mouse should be significantly more enjoyable. There are also buttons on the back of the console.
